Statement:
Three words that describe my art are symbolism, sensitivity and self-portraiture.
My artistic world is made up of pieces of fabric, clay, metal, blood vessels, stars, tears, roots, the Ural Mountains, abandoned wooden huts, magical creatures, tired women and many more images, states, symbols, phenomena and my transformations within all of this.
My practice is very diverse. I make textile sculptures, create costumes, masks, video art, animations, digital photo collages, and work with photography.
In my art, I explore myself and my feelings.
At different times, I have addressed such topics as personal mythology, national identity, the theme of corporality, childhood and memory, demonization, hypersensitivity and others.
I constantly interact with the environment in which I live, I let the works breathe, go beyond the space of the workshop and galleries. My body is in constant dialogue with what I create, sometimes I literally physically become a part of my works. My artistic practice does not have a clear system, the works are fluid, objects can move from project to project, change places depending on the context. I do not set any boundaries for myself and work freely.
