As an artist dealing with issues of ecology, I am a hybrid. My ephemeral installation projects and narrative photographs are influenced by my respect for native habitats. My work as an environmentalist stems from my engagement of nature in my site projects. All my work deals with issues of habitat change. The natural world is, to me, in a search for survival. Through my work I hope to create an interest in people to protect wild, fragile spaces. My work has been shown at The Heckscher Museum, Islip Art Museum, Wave Hill, Snug Harbor Cultural Center, and Catskill Center.
