SOCIAL SCULPTOR, SCULPTURE USING LIQUOR BOTTLES. |
The Recovered Bottle Project began in 1996. Each bottle is marked with
the day it is found and the location. Over time, they are transformed
and every second bottle is reintroduced into the community by the gifting
process. They are intended to be kept for one year and then given away
on the day printed on the bottom of the bottle. Those who have participated
in the project tell me about the powerful experience of transforming from
receiver to giver. Last year I began tracking them on my web site. I am
interested in visually seeing the community they are creating.
