Performer, poet, international teacher, designer of collaborative environments and events, founder of The Garden of Radical Presence, A School at the Confluence of Art, Ecology, and Consciousness. Co-ordinator of SUSTAINABILITY AS ART, on-going project in which an interdisciplinary group of artists works together for six months to make the reinvention of their daily lives toward more sustainability an art project. Each artist also creates an exhibitable or performable piece (arising from the sustainability focus). The culminating exhibit/performance serves as a focal point for public discussion about individuals/households creating new forms of daily life which are more deeply satisfying, creative, and in harmony with our Earth. Other aspects of my collaborative performance, teaching, and writing relate to inclusivity, to complexifying perception, widening awareness of connection and possibilities for full-bodied response. Exploring how our perceptions are defined by the objects we handle and structures in which we take shelter. I often work in the "COLLABYRINTH," a labyrinth in a mountain meadow which people enter (sometimes with objects) to explore multi-directional relationships with each other and the more-than- human world. Also work with devas and nature spirits, translating their geometries into performance and written word structures.
